OECD Economic Survey of Hungary 2021 – Friday 30 July – Online press conference at 10:00 CEST

 

26/07/2021 – The OECD will present a new Economic Survey of Hungary on Friday 30 July. The Survey examines the impact of the COVID-19 crisis on the economy and discusses how Hungary can ensure a strong and sustainable recovery. A special chapter looks at what Hungary needs to do to raise productivity, including by creating a more competitive business environment and bringing worker skills into line with labour market requirements.

OECD Director of Economic Country Studies Alvaro Pereira will present the Survey’s key messages and take questions from the media alongside Secretary of State for Financial Policy Gábor Gion. The event will start at 10:00 Budapest (CEST) time on Friday 30 July and will take place in English.
