Lebanese central bank faces audit as crisis deepens

The Central Bank of Lebanon is to be audited as recriminations fly over the country’s descent into economic crisis.

The government appointed turnaround consultants Alvarez & Marsal to carry out the audit, after a cabinet meeting on July 21.
