
The World Economic Forum’s annual Davos meeting has been postponed until the summer of 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement on August 26, WEF spokesman Adrian Monck said health experts had advised that the meeting could not be safely held in January, as scheduled.
The WEF is yet to announce a date and location of the rescheduled event. It said details of the new event will be revealed when it is assured that it can guarantee attendees’ safety.
