Paraguayan ex-governor objects to central bank board nominee

Paraguay’s president should not appoint a finance ministry official to the central bank board, a former governor and the institution’s staff union said.

Mario Abdo Benítez nominated Carmen Marín to the Central Bank of Paraguay (BCP) board on September 6.
