Polish governor appeals to ECB for support against removal

The governor of the Polish central bank, Adam Glapiński, has appealed to the European Central Bank for aid against a potential bid by the new parliamentary majority to impeach him.

The National Bank of Poland sent a letter to the ECB dated November 15, according to the ECB’s own response.
