Edward Scicluna’s five-year term as governor of the Central Bank of Malta may be about to come to an early end following a court ruling on July 24.

Magistrate Leonard Caruana said there was enough evidence for Scicluna, former deputy prime minister Chris Fearne and 12 others to face trial for alleged fraud and misappropriation of funds.
