The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) and the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) have made a series of senior appointments in recent weeks.
The RBA said in a statement on December 19 that Sarah Brown had been named head of banking. She will join the central bank in February.
Brown will oversee the banking department, which handles banking payments for the Australian government and serves overseas central banks.
