
Randal Quarles, former vice-chair for supervision at the US Federal Reserve, is to lead a review of implementation monitoring at the Financial Stability Board (FSB), as scrutiny of national rulemaking becomes a greater priority for the global regulatory body.
Quarles, who chaired the FSB from 2018 to 2021, will lead a “high-level group” of experts appointed by the Group of Twenty to conduct a strategic review of the board’s monitoring work.
