
The chair of the board at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) has stepped down amid criticism from the country’s finance minister over the bank’s handling of the resignation of its former governor in March.
Neil Quigley resigned with immediate effect on August 29, according to a statement released that day by finance minister Nicola Willis.
