ECB sheds light on uses for a digital euro

The European Central Bank revealed some of the use cases that could be enabled by its digital currency.

In a report published on September 26, the ECB showed off the results of its “innovation platform”, in which around 70 private sector actors had experimented with the digital euro in a ‘sandbox’ testing environment.
