Central banks with hybrid structures are more likely to use social media for two-way communications than counterparts with other arrangements, data from the Communications Benchmarks 2025 reveals.
Eight (80%) of the 10 communications teams with hybrid structures employ two-way communication. Among those with a centralised approach, 51.7% make use of two-way communications systems.
Twenty-three (57.5%) of all 40 respondent central banks say they use the two-way approach on social media.
