The Central Bank of the Philippines (BSP) has acknowledged reports that the husband of the country’s vice-president, Sara Duterte, filed a lawsuit against its governor alleging the couple’s banking records were improperly shared. 

According to media reports published today (April 27), BSP governor Eli Remolona was named in the lawsuit, which alleges he committed wrongdoing in his capacity as chair of the Philippines’ Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC). Remolona is named alongside other AMLC
